So we are cooking up a stew made of 'jarret' - which was bought blind from the French butcher as it looked like it was stewable and it was cheap. There followed a discussion as to what jarret might be in the car on the way back and we dicided it was most likely donkey, yes deffinately donkey. Jarret sounds a bit like Jack and Jenny, whioch is something to do with donkeys and pubs ... or something - and Pete (a chef) said he was sure that is what it was.
